DST CEO Shares Tips with Students about Preparing for College

President & CEO of Data Solutions & Technology Incorporated, Deborah Scott Thomas, shares tips with students in a video about preparing for college.  The video was created for the Way2GoMaryland project, which is the University System of Maryland's (USM) information campaign to encourage more students, especially those in middle school, to begin Way2GoMarylandpreparing for college early. It also offers tips for parents and guardians. Other participants in the Way2GoMaryland video campaign include Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and USM Chancellor William ‘Brit’ Kirwan. Components of the Way2GoMaryland campaign include:

  • • an informational website (www.way2gomaryland.org)
  • • posters and information pieces available for distribution, available in English and Spanish
  • • campaign resources offered to organizations across Maryland that serve middle- and high-school students
  • • special events to share information designed to get students on the right path to college.
